Professional Experience

Every stage of my career taught me something new. Together, they shaped the way

I approach technical systems today.

My career has taken me through military service, enterprise technical support, wireless infrastructure, and software development. While the technologies have changed over the years, one thing has remained constant: I enjoy understanding how complex systems work and building practical solutions that improve reliability, simplify processes, and make technology more effective for the people who use it.

Each role strengthened a different part of that mindset and prepared me for the next stage of my career.

United States Air Force

Building the Foundation

Serving in the United States Air Force taught me far more than technical skills. It taught me discipline, accountability, attention to detail, and the importance of following proven processes under pressure. Working in an environment where reliability mattered reinforced the value of preparation, documentation, teamwork, and solving problems methodically.

These experiences established the foundation for how I approach technical work today.

Key Takeaways

  • Discipline and accountability
  • Working under pressure
  • Technical procedures and documentation
  • Teamwork and communication
  • A structured approach to problem solving

Time Warner Cable

Learning Enterprise Troubleshooting

At Time Warner Cable, I supported complex internet, networking, cable television, and VoIP services while working with escalated technical issues that often required deeper investigation than standard support cases.

This role strengthened my troubleshooting skills by exposing me to large-scale network environments, customer-impacting outages, modem provisioning issues, routing problems, DNS failures, firmware issues, and VoIP challenges. It also reinforced the importance of communication while working with customers and field technicians to resolve difficult problems efficiently.

This experience taught me that successful troubleshooting isn't about finding quick answers—it's about understanding how the entire system works.

Key Takeaways

  • Enterprise troubleshooting
  • Root cause analysis
  • VoIP and networking
  • Customer communication
  • Working with field technicians
  • Escalation management

Bravado Broadband & Telephone

Building and Improving Infrastructure

Bravado Broadband & Telephone gave me the opportunity to work on technical systems from end to end.

I designed, deployed, maintained, and supported wireless broadband infrastructure while helping solve the operational challenges that come with running and supporting a growing network.

This role combined infrastructure, wireless networking, customer support, troubleshooting, documentation, planning, and long-term reliability into one continuous learning experience. It also reinforced something I had begun to realize throughout my career: solving individual problems is valuable, but improving the system itself creates lasting results.

Many of the software tools featured throughout this website grew from challenges I encountered while working in environments like this.

Key Takeaways

  • Infrastructure design
  • Wireless broadband
  • Network operations
  • Customer support
  • Documentation
  • Process improvement
  • Long-term systems thinking

Investing in the Next Stage
of
My Career

After Bravado Broadband & Telephone, I made the decision to invest in myself and prepare for the next stage of my career.

During this time, I expanded my knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud technologies, identity management, automation, AI-assisted productivity, and software development while creating practical tools that solved real operational problems.

Rather than viewing this period as time away from technology, I see it as one of the most valuable learning experiences of my career. It allowed me to broaden my technical perspective and combine years of infrastructure experience with modern automation and software development.
